What Have You Neglected?

One of the most important questions we can ask ourselves before God is:

What have I neglected?

Many times we become consumed with work, school, daily responsibilities, or financial concerns, while neglecting what God entrusted to us first: our family.

When the family no longer occupies its rightful place, the enemy finds room to sow division, disorder, and destruction.

Jesus warned us clearly:

"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy."
(John 10:10)

The enemy always seeks to destroy the home because he knows that strong families produce strong generations for God.

The Danger of Neglecting the Home

A family does not fall apart overnight.

It begins with small acts of neglect.

Little by little, good habits are replaced by unhealthy ones.

Meaningful conversations disappear.

Family prayer fades away.

God's Word is no longer the center of the home.

Before long, disorder begins to rule the household.

Today, many families live under a spirit of confusion and lack of discipline. Parents and children share the same house, but no longer share the same purpose.

Don't Hand Your Children Over to the World's System

We live in a generation where the world is trying to shape our children's minds before their parents do.

Social media, culture, and the ideologies of this age are constantly telling them what to believe, how to live, and what values to embrace.

That is why God is calling parents to reclaim their spiritual responsibility.

Do not allow the world to shape your children's hearts.

Lead them to the truth.

Teach them God's Word.

Pray with them.

Walk alongside them.

The greatest legacy you can leave them is not material wealth—it is a spiritual inheritance.

Don't Be Like the Ostrich

The ostrich has wings, yet it does not fly.

It possesses them but does not use them for the purpose they were created.

In the same way, many people have been given the calling to care for their families, yet they live as though that responsibility does not exist.

They appear to be good parents.

They appear to be good spouses.

They appear to be a united family.

But appearances can never replace reality.

God is not looking for families that merely look healthy.

He desires homes that have been restored from the inside out.

Wings Have a Purpose

In God's creation, every set of wings serves a unique purpose.

The eagle uses its wings to soar above the storm.

The dove represents peace and hope.

The hen spreads her wings to protect and shelter her chicks.

Likewise, God has given you the authority to protect, care for, and strengthen your family.

Do not leave those "wings" unused.

Your children need protection.

Your marriage needs care.

Your home needs spiritual direction.

There Is Safety Under God's Wings

The greatest protection any family can have is the presence of the Lord.

Scripture declares:

"He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge."
(Psalm 91:4)

When a family chooses to dwell under God's protection, they find peace in the middle of life's storms, direction in times of confusion, and hope when everything seems lost.

It Is Time for Reconciliation

God has never abandoned His purpose for the family.

Even where there are wounds, separation, or years of conflict, He continues calling people to reconciliation.

The prophecy of Malachi declares:

"And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers."
(Malachi 4:6)

That is still God's desire today.

There is still time to restore relationships.

There is still time to ask for forgiveness.

There is still time to begin again.

Recover What Seemed Lost

Perhaps you have lost valuable time with your children.

Perhaps your marriage is going through a difficult season.

Perhaps meaningful conversation disappeared long ago.

But as long as Christ is present, there is always hope.

The Bible declares:

"But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles."
(Isaiah 40:31)

God can renew your strength to love again, to serve again, and to rebuild what once seemed beyond repair.

Christ Is Alive

Jesus is not merely a figure from history.

He is alive.

He hears.

He speaks.

He answers.

After His resurrection, He told His disciples:

"Go to My brethren..."
(John 20:17)

The first message of the risen Christ was the announcement that He is alive.

That same living Christ is still calling every family to return to Him today.

Today Is the Time to Act

Stop raising your voice to wound those you love.

Stop using words that tear others down.

Do not allow pride to rob you of the people God has entrusted to you.

Place your home in God's hands.

Ask Him for direction.

Allow Him to transform your heart so that He can transform your family.

Do not wait until it is too late to value what God has given you.

Christ Is Coming Soon

Christ is coming soon.

Do not continue neglecting what God has placed under your care.

Rise up as a father.

Rise up as a mother.

Rise up as a husband.

Rise up as a wife.

Spread wings of protection, love, and faith over your home.

Recover what seemed lost, and allow God to restore your family through His power and grace.

"Pay attention, and may God give you understanding in everything."
(2 Timothy 2:7)

👉 Today is the day to put God back at the center of your home. Do not allow the world to shape your family or the enemy to steal what the Lord has entrusted to you. Under God's wings there is protection, restoration, and a new opportunity to live united, strengthened, and guided by His truth.
